This policy explains how Shellpo Traders Co. (“Shellpo,” “we,” “us”) handles information when you use shellpotools.com, including our public catalog, store locator and distributor portal.

Information we collect

Browsing the public site. You can browse products and use the store locator without creating an account. If you search the store locator by ZIP code or address, that search is sent to a map lookup service (OpenStreetMap Nominatim) to find nearby stores; we do not store it.

Distributor accounts. When a business registers for the distributor portal we collect the information on the registration form: email address, username, password, company name, contact person, phone number (optional), and business address (street, city, state, ZIP and country).

Quote requests. When a distributor requests a quote we store the products, quantities, notes and any messages exchanged about that quote.

Contacting us. If you email or call us, or use a contact form, we receive the information you choose to send.

Technical information. Our hosting and security providers automatically process standard technical data such as IP address, browser type and the pages requested, to deliver the site and protect it from abuse. Your browser also stores your sign-in session and your draft quote on your own device.

How we use information

We use this information to run the distributor portal, prepare and respond to quotes, contact you about your account or orders, send account emails (such as email confirmation and password resets), keep the site secure, and comply with legal obligations.

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not use advertising or tracking cookies.

Who we share it with

We share information only with service providers that help us operate the site, and only as needed for that purpose:

Cloudflare (website hosting, security and email routing), Supabase (account sign-in and the database that stores distributor profiles and quotes), and Resend (sending account and quote notification emails). Store-locator map tiles are provided by Esri and address lookups by OpenStreetMap.

We may also disclose information if required by law or to protect our rights, customers or the public.

How long we keep it

We keep distributor account and quote information for as long as the account is active and as needed for business records. You can ask us to close your account and delete your information at any time; we will do so unless we are required to keep certain records.

Your choices

You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal information by emailing [email protected]. Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights under applicable privacy laws, and we will honor valid requests.

Security

The site uses encrypted (HTTPS) connections, passwords are handled by our sign-in provider and never stored by us in readable form, and access to quote data is limited to the distributor who submitted it and authorized Shellpo staff. No system is perfectly secure, so please keep your password private.

Children

This site is intended for businesses and adults. We do not knowingly collect information from children under 13.
